A business valuation incorporates the valuation of a business, its intangible and other assets to determine the economic value of the business.  During the valuation process, all areas of the business are reviewed to determine the fair value of the business.  The valuation can be undertaken for various reasons including bringing in a new partner, matrimonial distribution, dispute resolution etc.
