Independent Directors

An independent director will generally have no links with the company, other than sitting on the board, and have no affiliation to any other directors or shareholders.  The director is expected to provide unbiased advice, perspective and judgement to the board of directors.

We have extensive knowledge of business laws, tax laws and over the years have developed good business acumen.  We believe we will be able to assist and contribute positively and objectively and make a difference in a board and by extension to your company.

The Companies Act 1993 requires all New Zealand registered companies to have at least one New Zealand resident director.  We will be able to act as an independent New Zealand director subject to due diligence and indemnity.
